I graduated from Cal State East Bay with a BS in cell/molecular biology and microbiology/biomedical sciences with a minor in chemistry. During my junior and senior years I did a large amount of hands on work. I designed multiple PCR projects and assisted some of the masters program students on their projects. As a member of Alpha Phi fraternity I have participated in many community service events, and charity fundraisers. During my freshman year I was even the director of chapter events for the Eta Delta chapter. Now that I have my BS I’m using that foundation to extend my knowledge in the rising field of biotechnology; I hope that by earning multiple certificates in the biotech field I will be able to enter a position where I can assist in the next major scientific discovery.
