We successfully raised awareness about the warning signs of eating disorders, how to help a friend, and where to find help, both at the university and within the community.With my fellow dietetic interns, we ran a hospital-wide Nutrition Month campaign based on Dietitian's of Canada's theme "Eating 9 to 5". We used a travelling cart to target staff on the floors to give them the opportunity to learn about eating well at work and general nutrition, as well as play some fun games and win some prizes. We received excellent feedback, and many staff members stated they were unaware there was ever a Nutrition Month campaign in the hospital, despite it happening for many years. Show less
