In this role, I assist with evaluating accepted manuscripts from various journals to ensure they meet publication standards before they move to production.

I directed and managed the work of 10 editorial assistants who support the NEJM’s manuscript peer review process. The department works intensively in the ScholarOne Manuscripts platform each day, handling over 15,000 submissions a year while acting as liaisons between the deputy editors, reviewers, and authors. I routinely edited and maintained department-wide documentation to ensure that my group adhered to and communicated NEJM policy and procedures, and I implemented new policies and workflows as needed.
