I also lead policy development for the P&C industry on non-financial risk regulation including climate risk, operational risk, digital and technology risk, and market conduct guidance. • Advise senior executives and the CEO on regulatory and economic developments and advocacy strategy, through the delivery of briefing notes and presentations. Liaise with executives and policy leads at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial institutions (OSFI), Department of Finance, Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) on complex P&C subjects relating to financial regulation.• Lead a team that is responsible for generating data and analysis to support policy positions, and draft policy submissions to OSFI, Department of Finance Canada, OECD, FSRA and other domestic and global regulatory and government bodies.

- Lead and manage projects related to capital, accounting and financial regulation policy initiatives affecting P&C insurers. Prepare and deliver briefing notes, commentary, and presentations on finance-related issues for industry finance executives.- Liaise with financial regulator officials and senior financial industry executives to understand and provide advice on the impact of regulatory changes on the insurance industry. - Industry lead on discussions of IFRS 17 accounting policy, including the preparation of background papers used by the insurance industry and regulators.- Monitor domestic and international regulatory environment, especially in jurisdictions in which member insurers operate.
