Research internship at the University of Illinois at Chicago thanks to a scholarship from COLCIENCIAS (Colombian Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation). The internship at the UIC was based on learning and implementing Unity game-development, by auditing an Interactivity course at the Biomedical Visualization Department. As a result of the internship, three big Unity projects were built: an interactive educational app about period health for teens, a cognitive dual-tasking game, and a game intended to break negative stereotypes towards the use of antidepressants, in a fun and engaging way.
