About Sarah Gaston
From my first “Hello World” to creating complex components for client websites, I’ve been hooked on software development. It combines my desire to create something useful, curiosity for knowing how things work, and passion for puzzles. These days I’m lucky enough to call that my job.Working in marketing, I used HTML, CSS, and SQL in email campaigns and websites, but lacked the freedom to create or fix things beyond the confines of a content management system. I wanted more. I hit the books and was introduced to the wide world of OOP with courses on Java, JavaScript, Node.js and Angular to name a few. I got MEAN with MongoDB, had a JAM session with APIs, and switched on a LAMP with PHP.While I received my master's degree, I’ll never be done learning and look forward to what the future in development holds.
