We need people and capital to get off the sidelines and into the game now.And we need a coalition of the willing to step out and lead the necessary and critical shifts in mindsets and structures to meet the urgency of this time.To understand being ‘fit-for-purpose’, any framework for philanthropic giving must be evaluated amidst three critical realities of the 21st century:1. Climate change. 2. Frontier tech & digitization (AI, Biotech, etc). 3. Future of governance. These aren’t funding areas or conference themes. They are tectonic plates that are reshaping the landscape of the hashtag#future. Comprehensive and organization-wide strategies that address these areas will be critical to effectively deploying capital in any issue area around the hashtag#globe. The Ascent Fellowship, led by former World Economic Forum and Spencer Stuart COO Kevin Steinberg and founded by former WEF executives, is a cohort-based program that brings together carefully-selected executive peers for a nine-month engagement focused on understanding how industry, technology, and societal disruptions will affect them and their organizations.

Zero Gap: closing the gap in the equality movement. I see gender inequality as a human problem, that when solved, will result in solving and significantly improving many (if not all) of the greatest questions plaguing our world today: poverty, racial inequality, political divides. What it will take to solve this issue is a framework and cultural shift needed to solve many other issues. And I believe this is the starting point because EVERYONE has a stake in this issue. Inequality is not a woman problem, it is a human problem, and we won't solve it until we treat it as such. While it doesn’t look the same for everyone (and the problem itself intersects with other issues—like race or economic status), one thing is for sure: it involves the entire population. That is why I co-founded Zero Gap.

From strategy to implementation, I worked with the big picture in mind always, making sure the story, the mission, and vision are clear and best communicated. An entrepreneurial company which encourages women to create a business out of selling jewelry and being a stylist. I maintained this business on the side as an entrepreneurial endeavor for social networking, during my senior year of college.

I worked for two years managing and directing the large volunteer program on my college campus. As the only student with an office on campus, I managed 27 programs and their respective leaders as well as hundreds of student volunteers. During my time there I strove to continue the vision of the program, develop new and existing programs, create awareness of the programs and their services, and encourage relations with the surrounding local community of Hillsdale.

Working at the University Village in Albany as the Administrative Director for the recreational programs, customer relations, and program management. I took over the program during a change in leadership and internal structures, and then helped train the incoming personnel.
