Why try to fit in a box? When the world is so much more colorful outside the box!I was born and raised in Sweden until I turned 21, which I then took my backpack, and I was going on an adventure! (Not barefoot, if you get the reference)I travelled across the world to Australia which I never left. My career in fitness started in Adelaide where I needed something to call home. It was definitely not the new town or country I moved to; I found my home at the gym.The community, the commitment and support that I built there made this vast country suddenly feel like home. After that there was no stopping. I worked as a personal trainer for Goodlife gym for about 12 months before I grabbed my backpack again and moved to Australia.I found my feet at the doors of Virgin Active, which I then dug my heels in and progressed to a leadership role. That journey has taken me to manage the fitness and group exercise team in one of Australia's biggest gyms.My passion for HIIT training eventually lead me to the head coach role for Virgin Active's HIIT product, Grid Training, and when I tell you that this job is now part of me, you better believe it!We have recently launched “Lift Club” within our Pitt Street club, which is a barbell strength class in a group exercise format. I spend my free time nose deep in fiction books, propped up on pillows; gaming on my PlayStation or Nintendo Switch or encouraging my teammates through a grueling workout.I believe movement is medicine, physically and mentally.I believe that everyone has a place in this world, and I am great at helping you find it.I believe in adventure and taking it on headfirst, however it shows up in life.I believe that living outside the box, being yourself, is the greatest gift you can give yourself.
