Associate with a small law firm with national practice trading distressed debt and advising hedge funds and financial institutions on corporate reorganization issues.Negotiated purchase and sale agreements with large financial organizations including Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs. Facilitated the closing of over 400 such purchases and sales in 2008.

Assisted attorneys with research projects involving internet databases, archived materials, and legislative filings.

Assisted with coordinating events and provides administrative support in the marketing department. Maintained monthly marketing budget reconciliation and assisted in marketing efforts of the firm by facilitating on-site events and off-site sponsorships.

Assisted students and faculty in the use and understanding of Westlaw. Taught students in workshops on how to use economically frugal search techniques and skills. Promoted the use of Westlaw on campus through corporate marketing activities.

Researched and drafted memoranda on corporate product liability, ongoing asbestos litigation, and unclaimed funds. Created software licensing agreement. Reviewed international subsidiary annual reports for consistency.Developed Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) policy for corporate health facilities, and privacy policy for international employee corporate handbook

Managed caseload of approximately 30 active client files. Researched regulatory and contractual issues and prepared memos and client correspondence. Assisted in writing employment and health law articles for Business Review. Created comprehensive Powerpoint presentations for corporate employment law seminars.
