Language acquisition and assessment specialist with skills to multitask, manage projects, and analyze data. I have worked in assessment since 2003, where I began as a composition rater at the University of Michigan English Language Institute. I have developed and scored test items for examinees from children to adults, including dual language learners of English and other languages, and people with disabilities. I taught 140 students across eight semesters: pre-university, undergraduate, and graduate students in English as a second language (ESL), linguistics, and research methods. My peer-reviewed work can be found in the journals Assessing Writing, Language Assessment Quarterly, and Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence.
