I currently oversee CEI's three Women's Business Centers, and manage the staff, major donor communications, and strategic planning for the centers. I continue to work 1:1 with small business to provide advising, and am particularly skilled at helping female entrepreneurs access capital.

As a Program Director at the CEI Women's Business Center, I provided business advising to entrepreneurs as they start or grow their own businesses. I managed all of our program's offerings: including training, events, and other resources. My focus wass on client results, and program growth. I also ensured compliance with all grant reporting requirements.

Provided business counseling for refugees and immigrants starting or strengthening businesses in Maine. Helped clients develop their business acumen, secure financing, and navigate the local business environment. Worked to develop relationships with other service providers and key players in the immigrant community, as well as internal stakeholders.

I managed the quarterly reporting process for three socially responsible venture capital funds: including valuation and quarterly reports. I corresponded with all portfolio companies, and prepared reports for the Valuation Committee. Other assistance included: CDFI application, Maine Seed Tax Credit logistics for investors, and occasional insight on fund.

In 2007 I founded ECHO after being unsatisfied with my options for supporting important educational programs in Ecuador, and in 2018 we transitioned to a new board with more time and energy to devote to fundraising. ECHO supports non-profit organizations in Ecuador that are committed to providing hopeful futures for working children and their families.

Catapulta promotes entrepreneurship and small business development in Ecuador through trainings, workshops, and consulting. During my time as General Manager, Catapulta experienced income growth of 234%, with expected earnings growth of 126% from 2009 through 2011. Sample projects included: work with the federal government to develop and promote programs.

Measured the outcome of AUSA’s domestic microloans through interviews with 101 clients using the Aspen Institute’s MicroTest tool. Authored and presented to the marketing and development departments a report of findings demonstrating that AUSA loans help low-to-moderate income individuals drive neighborhood economic development by increasing household.

Quito, Ecuador

Defined the scope and responsibility of volunteer positions such as medical coordinator, street outreach worker, and after-school tutor, and recruited appropriate volunteers to fill positions. Published a bilingual newsletter which provides 750 donors and former volunteers a continued sense of community. Led weekly meeting for Ecuadorian staff and foreign.
