For more than 30 years, Hasted has been known for her innovative promotion and appreciation of contemporary art and artists. She works with clients to develop photography and contemporary art collections worldwide. Hasted works with both emerging and established artists and is based in NEW YORK, SANTA FE and GERMANY.She has been a Part-time Assistant Professor at the Parsons School of Design since 2003 in the BFA and MFA departments. For the past 20 years she has taught, championed, employed, mentored and strategized with alumni from Parsons.Elected in 2017, Hasted serves as President of the Board of the theater arts program for urban youth, Moving Mountains Theater Company. She received an award from Moving Mountains in 2014 for her contributions to her community.

Founding Partner and Director, Sarah Hasted has been a curator and dealer for over 25 years. She has consulted for many private collectors and has placed artwork with numerous major museums and corporate collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Cleveland Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Art in Houston, the High Museum, Chrysler Museum, the International Center for Photography, La Salle National Bank, Goldman Sachs Corporation, Intel Corporation and Hallmark. Hasted is known for her innovative promotion and appreciation of contemporary and vintage photography and artists. The artists she she has worked with have been recognized for their outstanding achievements by the National Endowment for the Arts, Ford Foundation, Guggenheim Foundation, Deutsche Borse, Lucies, W. Eugene Smith Memorial Fund and the ICP Infinity Award among others. Hasted consistently arranges and facilitates museum exhibitions for artists and places their work in such esteemed institutions as the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the National Gallery of Canada.Hasted discovered, works with and promotes the work of Erwin Olaf, Andreas Gefeller, Paolo Ventura, Jean-Paul Goude, Albert Watson, Pierre Gonnord, Kim Dong Yoo, and Jeff Bark. They have received much critical acclaim and coverage in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Photo District News, Photograph, The Art Newspaper and Fortune Magazine among others. They were specially featured in the BBC’s series titled “The Genius of Photography.” Hasted also specializes in the resale and exhibition of vintage works and serve as consultant to many private collectors and institutions.
