Heading up a comms team to make sure people who need the services know where to find them and what's available.Sites across Kent and South East London in over 150 sites providing services for mental health, dementia, maternity, speech and language, diabetes, HIV, sexual health, day care for adults with learning difficulties, stroke rehab, school counsellors, physiotherapy, children's services, family and carer support - all requiring promotion and campaign work.

Working on stories for the breakfast show, finding people to interview, booking guests, recording interviews and editing them.A 3-month contract during the election period.

This role was to cover a maternity leave and came to an end in mid-Feb 2015.The job included social media, creation of a Christmas media campaign, website updates, producing news content, press releases, responding to journalists’ queries, creating a staff newsletter and designing literature, plus event planning and management.

Working with the press office to update the website and social media channels with news, appeals and updates.This involved liaison with officers to develop stories and give relevant and interesting information to the public.Social media channels were very busy, needing constant monitoring.I was also involved with thinking of both audio and visual content for the website, at all stages of planning and production.This was a 6-month maternity contract.
