I am the former director of London Connected Learning Centre, now working as a consultant supporting schools, local authorities, MATS and other organisations in conceiving and implementing digital strategy. I am a guest lecturer at University College London, Institute of Education. in creative digital learning and assessment of creativity.I have significant experience of leading powerful professional development for teachers.I am an accomplished designer of small to large scale education projects for children, young people and families. During the pandemic, I helped UK schools transition to remote and blended models, focusing on supporting disadvantaged students. I led an IBM-commissioned programme on blended learning pedagogy and created training materials for UNICEF's Education During Emergency Plan in Jordan.I have worked with municipalities across Northern Europe devising and delivering a range of digital learning-themed Erasmus projects including AI and personalised learning, computational thinking and blended learning pedagogy. I led the delivery of multi-award-winning curriculum and technical services for schools. London Connected Learning Centre won BETT Awards for school service and support in 2019, 2020 and was shortlisted in 2021 and 2022.I am an experienced public speaker on digital learning and present regularly at the BETT Show in London and at national and global events. My BETT show talks have included; AI for school leaders, developing critical learners in a digital age, computational thinking with young children, leading digital strategy, the digital divide, digital in early years.I have authored several research papers including educational blogs and their effects on pupils' writing and technology-supported professional development for teachers: lessons from developing countries. Before running the CLC and becoming a consultant, I worked as a primary teacher and deputy headteacher. With this diverse background spanning the classroom to national initiatives, HE and the conference hall, I offer informed perspectives on digital learning, strategy, creativity and pedagogy.
