As an advocate of Change, I’m passionate about transforming the way organizations think about business and digital transformation. I spent the early part of my career Leading IT and business teams to collaboratively drive transformation and project delivery for companies both big and small located in Australia before transitioning into a COO and Co-founder for an Australian based SaaS Startup in the FMCG, retail merchandising industry.Winning the Telstra Micro Business of the year in 2005 I relocated to the USA for 7 years to drive growth. I exited that company in 2013 and founded another SaaS startup, this time based in Bali.During my time in Bali, I was recruited as a “Turn Around Business Transformation Consultant” for a once successful Restaurant that was languishing since the takeover. Such an incredible experience, to transform operations from the red back to black in 6 short months, and to coach the Balinese staff on upselling, customer service, operations and ordering management etc.I received my MBA (Honours) from Swinburne University, Australia (A.G.S.M) with a Research Thesis in “Factors Contributing to IT Project Delivery Failures” and become a Subject Matter Expert and Problem Solver in “Root Cause Analysis”.On the back of my Thesis, I published a book, “Stop Blaming The Software – Corporate Profiling for IT Project Success”. Not a best seller, but certainly well worth the time and passion as it has been the impetus for building our enterprise architecture SaaS, OConect.I’ve spent two years in Cambodia working with local and international Startups online to help them go from ideation to prototypes and MVP’s. I was appointed as CEO for the Australian based Startup in 2018 to head up the Funding and Investment rounds from the UK.I believe that employees—from the ground up—hold the keys to meaningful change in a collaborative environment where every voice bottom up and top down is heard.
