In 2023, I organised the craft division’s first shoot featuring a model who uses a wheelchair, which taught me a great deal about the challenges wheelchair users face. The Knitter’s now ongoing policy to represent a wider range of ethnicities, ages and abilities in its model choice ensures the brand appeals to a wider audience and cements its position of authority and trust within the market. The Knitter team continues to receive a great deal of positive feedback from readers and the yarn industry as a result.– In 2021 I brought about a change in how The Knitter’s digital editions were compiled to correct an issue with users of screen-reading software being presented with out-of-sequence pattern text.– Developed creative for The Knitter’s ‘Subscribe In Time’ social media campaigns, generating over 450 new print subscriptions + £16k revenue.– Awarded Immediate Media Bristol Cover of the Month twice, for The Knitter.– Awarded Future Publishing Cover of the Year, for Guitarist.
