Sarah is originally from Madison, Wisconsin where she grew up performing in local theatre productions. In High School she attended summer programs at two renowned institutions: Interlochen Center for the Arts, and Carnegie Mellon University. In college, she attended Illinois Wesleyan University as an undergraduate in Music Theatre. Favorite roles in high school and college include: Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, Maria in The Sound of Music, Hedda in Hedda Gabler, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, and Alice in Closer. Sarah also worked in summer stock theatre throughout her college career. Favorite summer stock roles include: Wendy in Peter Pan, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Sheila in A Chorus Line, and the Narrator in Joseph... Upon graduation, Sarah moved to New York City. For the next several years she worked Off-Off Broadway and Regionally, favorite shows including My Favorite Year, The Taffetas, and the title role in Gigi. Sarah made her screen debut in the acclaimed short film Leave You in Me. Her vulnerably raw work in the film garnered her Best Actress Award wins at the NYC PictureStart Film Festival and LA's Show Off Your Short Film Festival. Shortly after the film's completion, Sarah moved from New York to Los Angeles.Sarah guest starred on Monk, Ghost Whisperer and Mental. She also took roles in several other TV and Film projects. She continued to utilize her musical abilities as a singer-songwriter, and her cover of the Conor Oberst/Bright Eyes song Lua was featured in the pilot Halfway There in 2018. In 2021, Sarah appeared in a supporting role in the Lifetime TV movie Desperate Widows. She has shot over three national commercials.
