Play for Peace empowers young leaders to bridge divides and foster unity.In 2010, I was asked to lead the organization building on an effective experiential model already created. I added new technology and collaborative strategies that led to an explosive growth of Play for Peace programming worldwide. Currently, I;- support a learning community that began with 50 members and has reached over 2000 youth and adult volunteers- recruit, hire, train, and coach an international team of consultants and certified trainers virtually- encourage the Board of Directors growth and development- develop partnerships with universities, UN entities, international NGOs, and local organizations- integrate technology solutions and all social media, website & communication strategies- brought a turn-around organization to financial sustainability, raising over 5 million from private funding, corporate workshops, events, grants, and leveraging pro-bono services- give talks, lectures, and experiential training workshops to a variety of audiences across the globe- develop asynchronous virtual, live, hybrid, and in-person training certification courses and workshops- oversee all monitoring, research, and program evaluation projects Play for Peace Vision;To ignite learning initiatives in regions around the globe, networking as one unified community that contributes to a more peaceful world.Play for Peace Mission;To bring together children, youth, and organizations from communities in conflict, using cooperative play to create laughter, compassion, and peace.

Fotokids is an organization breaking the cycle of poverty through training youth in arts and technology. In this role, I;- managed staff of fourteen, who were all alumni of this organization serving children living and working in the Guatemala City garbage dump - maintained all monthly expenditures and budget controls - developed, researched, and wrote funding proposals in English and Spanish- provided financial and program result reports to the Executive Director

Seeds of Hope helped stop the spread of tuberculosis through patient support.As a founder I;- developed a patient support services program in a TB hospital located in the Western Highlands of Guatemala that served over 150 patients at risk for developing drug-resistant TB, many of whom were HIV-positive - designed projects in conjunction with community leaders to increase stakeholder engagement- recruited and maintained a team of international and national volunteers- established local and international contacts between institutions to grow volunteer participation and fundraising- handed over all developed programs to the hospital staff after they became self-sustaining
