• Utilized regression, classification, optimization, analytics, and QA testing techniques to identify important factors of star formation in tens of thousands of nearby galaxies • Routinely observed on the Green Bank Telescope (GBT), the largest movable telescope in the world, and assisted in telescope operations. • Worked as part of an international collaboration of scientists to create a homogenous, publicly available dataset of multiwavelength images of over 16,000 galaxies. The collaboration also performed published analytics on the galaxies to better understand the nearby universe. • Used regression and optimization to find the best fit of physical models to data from the Hubble Space Telescope allowing me to create a high-resolution galaxy image which was later used in a public release marketing image. • Highly proficient at delivering informative and engaging presentations• Acted as a mentor to several undergraduate and graduate women in physics and astronomy.
