• Acting as liaison to senior management to assist in planning and developing strategic plans for operational activity for retail stores in the UK and Ireland.• Coordinating, managing and monitoring all operational policies and procedures with a view to ensuring operational excellence across the business and implementing improvements where necessary.• Managing budgets and costs effectively in respect of the planning process.• Tendering, negotiating, managing and coordinating contracts with contractors and service providers.• Ensuring that appropriate Health and Safety policies are maintained and compliant and those necessary notices are displayed and reviewed.• Ensure all stores adhere to, trained in and proficient in terms of stock control procedures to prevent any inventory slippage and so we can ensure we have accurate inventory stock holdings.• Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure all the marketing activities for the region are supporting the strategic needs of the business.• Work with the Merchandising Teams to ensure all stores are visually in line with company VM directives and that the Global VM directives are meeting the needs of the local retail stores.• Recruit, train and develop staff ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner with qualified personnel.• Ensure all employees are trained to provide outstanding customer service.• Ensure all human resources issues are dealt with in a timely and effective manner, partnering with HR when necessary.• Administering payroll and maintaining employee records.• Management of the store P&Ls with a focus on increasing profitability of each location• Define and roll out KPI targets within the region in line with company goals. Use these KPIs to drive sales to achieve the financial goals of the company.

• Responsibility for 6 full-time staff and 9 part-time staff including the day to day running of the store with a major focus on profitability and staff costs.• As a stand alone store, additional responsibilities included the daily financial reconciliations and cash lodgments.
