Boost took 10K phones that would have otherwise been scrapped. • Managed System Test of third-party team in India, driving test activities. Weekly status meetings were held and late night or early morning sync ups to coordinate test coverage or explain issues found.

iDEN Software Maintenance Release Manager and Field Service SupportManaged iDEN Software Maintenance releases for multiple devices and multiple mobile carriers. Coordinated development, testing, and release of the software. • Supported all iDEN products to resolve and negotiate carrier issues, interfacing with customer and working with the hardware team to resolve issues in a timely manner.• Secured scheduled releases by delivering software to customers on time. Developed SW to support RF IC chipsets for new product platforms and speakerphone user interface for i1000 which was first iDEN phone with a Speakerphone feature. Programmed primarily in C.

Motorola Paging Products Group and Core Technology GroupDesigned, implemented and tested User Interface features for one line numeric pager, programming in assembly for 8-bit MC6805. Debugged software and hardware using emulators and logic analyzers. Analyzed Flash memory parts to use in Core Technology for future products. This replaced costly one time programmable ROM parts - a first for Motorola’s paging division.
