Simply helping out in the local retail shop in our village. Although I turn my hands to anything that is required, from operating the till (think Arkwright's in Open All Hours!), tidying the shop, sorting out stock and serving customers, I love getting the books in alphabetical order! And, having plenty of good humoured banter with the manager and other volunteers and staff alike. So rewarding and wonderful to be away from my computer!
