As a clinical associate, it was my primary role to assist RN's with patient care. This included vital signs, hygiene assistance, recording of intake and output, and assisting with the admit and discharge process. I now know how to accurately and promptly chart confidential patient information using a HIPAA compliant Electronic Medical Record system (CERNER). Water Safety instruction was my primary role at Aqua-Tots Swim Schools and I implemented curriculum for swim students ages 4 months to 16 years of age, as well as oriented and taught new employees. As Master Water Safety Instructor (MWSI), I continuously evaluated and reviewed ongoing training for employees and their work performance, including leading and presenting updated information during in-service group trainings. By working with students on either a one to one or four to one basis, I was able to appropriately recommend curriculum based on each student's skill level; this included providing teaching to swimmers with disabilities.
