I've been in the Communications / Marketing field since 2010, primarily in the non-profit space. Before that I worked in the food service industry which honed my customer service and hospitality skills. My educational background is not in Comms/Marketing, but as a French Lit major / English minor I developed strong academic and creative writing skills. As an Elder Millennial I feel like I have grown up alongside social media.I wear many hats at the Creative Arts Guild. In addition to heading up our marketing efforts, I help plan and execute our annual events, I keep track of our alcohol inventory and handle ordering and organizing the bar when it's needed, and I help with booking musicians for the Off the Rails Summer Concert Series.
