Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert on child development, family relations, national accreditation and professional development in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. Responsible for the overall development, execution, reporting and evaluation of our professional development plans and the implementation of developmentally appropriate early learning environments. Highlighted Accomplishment: Complete redesign of the organization's professional development, plans, course content and reporting systems to align with the mission and values while professionalizing the early childhood workforce.

Served as the supervisor, leader and coach for a diverse workforce to ensure safe and responsible daily operations of a child development center. Established systems, designed resources and developed training content to enhance the care and education of children ages six weeks to kindergarten entry. Highlighted Accomplishment: Established programming, environmental, and administration requirements to earn and sustain accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Worked at the national level to increase awareness of the unique needs of geographically dispersed Army Reserve Soldiers, families and children and foster the development of projects and initiatives to reach this under-served population in local communities. Initiated and established relationships with key stakeholders from national organizations that had the resources to support these families. Furnished guidance and oversight to ongoing projects occurring simultaneously in multiple locations throughout the county.Highlighted Accomplishment: Invited speaker at local, state and national conferences to increase awareness and inspire action to support military children and families.

Coordinated events and services for Army Reserve families connected to military units within a four-state area of responsibility. Served as the regional Army Reserve expert on childcare, youth programs and school support within the command structure and surrounding civilian communities.

Utilized research-based information from the land grant university to serve the community in El Paso County, Colorado. Created and delivered programs and resources to increase positive youth development activities and deliver quality training and resources on family and consumer sciences topics for parents and professionals.Highlighted Accomplishment: Development of training materials on supporting children during the war-time deployment of a parent or close family member. The training content was modified for a variety of audiences and ultimately reached thousands of individuals. Service members, their families, early childhood professionals, teachers and other community stakeholders.

Utilized early learning curriculum focused on early brain development in the first three years of life. Compassionate delivery of this evidence-based curriculum through home visiting increased parental knowledge of age-appropriate expectations, reduced the risk of child abuse and supported school readiness.Highlighted Accomplishment: As I reflect on my experiences with Parents as Teachers, what I am most proud of is the ability I had to quickly establish rapport with families as they welcomed me into their homes and the lives of their children.
