About Sarah Judd Welch

I am intrigued by this moment in technology with the mainstreaming of GenAI and how organizations and teams transform to deliver on it. For the past 15 years, I’ve carved pathways to business transformation, helping teams navigate challenging feelings during times of change. My fascination for entrepreneurship and innovation within organizations developed as a result of my background in design research, community building and experience running my own businesses. I have a passion for aligning cross functional teams and engaging executive stakeholders through times of uncertainty. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with how you actually make change happen. After working with over 50 organizations, including Meetup.com, Grammarly, General Electric, and American Medical Association, on community strategy and design, I narrowed my focus to design strategy and innovation at the intersection of technology. At this point, I was working with companies including Waymo, Meta, and Google, as well as with cultural institutions such as Central Synagogue. Participatory design methods bring all levels of stakeholders into decision making processes, allowing people to be seen, heard, and reflected in solutions that are built and expanding the number of seats at the table. This requires not just organizational transformation, but personal transformation from the leaders I work with. My deepest desire that drives me in my career is the goal of eventually creating the mechanisms of accountability for corporations to their wider set of stakeholders including employees, customers, and communities.
