Responsible for the advancement of technology for the all disciplines within the Buildings Operating Unit (BOU) ▪ Leads operational and strategic technology vision; requirements, planning, and negotiating the allocation of budget and resources in support of 5200+ Buildings team members, 150+ offices globally ▪ Provides direction and oversight of Buildings Digital Practice Managers, Specialists and Buildings Development team ▪ Management, budgeting, forecasting, capacity planning and regular reporting and analysis of best practice, advancement, and development efforts for Buildings Digital Practice and Technology ▪ Evaluates external advancements in the industry to improve the user experience, reduce operating expenses, increase innovation, enhance the client experience, and strengthen Stantec’s brand position ▪ Promote and facilitate the creation, adoption, and maintenance of Buildings best practices through standardization of processes throughout design project delivery ▪ Formulates via leadership and consensus building long-term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective current and emerging technologies for all operating and production areas ▪ Utilizes internal and external metrics to analyze and make recommendations for the continuous improvement of the technology infrastructure and technology systems ▪ Coordinates and drives the business relationship with key internal partners and significant external partners ▪ Directs research on potential technology solutions and implementation in support of new Buildings initiatives, opportunities and procurement efforts
