On behalf of America's dairy farmers and Dairy Management, Inc., leads a cross-functional team that convenes the dairy community through the Innovation Center for U. S. Dairy. Focused on demonstrating dairy values and building trust with consumers, the Innovation Center engages the dairy value chain to advance and communicate social responsibility priorities including environmental stewardship, animal care, community contributions and more. Works closely with the President and Chair of the Board of Directors to facilitate the Board of Directors, direct the work and build alignment with key stakeholders.

Served as strategic counsel and Chief of Staff to the President of DMI and the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy. Drove development of the dairy industry's social responsibility plan, and built internal and external stakeholder engagement in and ownership of the plan. Created greater synergies across the DMI and Innovation Center businesses, translating strategy and connecting stakeholders to joint outcomes. Developed key messages and compelling speeches for President to communicate and build alignment in the work. (Promoted from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President in January 2017).

Prior roles included leading development and implementation of Fuel Up to Play 60, the largest in-school health and wellness program, established by the National Dairy Council and the National Football League; and leading Integrated Marketing Communications, including consumer media relations, digital, thought leader outreach and business-to-business communications.

Conducted media relations activities for Advocate Christ Medical Center and Hope Children's Hospital. Responsible for the promoting the pediatric practice, securing major local media coverage (including network affiliates and Chicago's leading newspapers) on such topics as Hope's cutting-edge pediatric heart surgeries, oncology practice, the birth of quintuplets and community outreach. Also handled media inquiries for the ER, designated a Level 1 trauma center.
