Sarah Kier is a Associate Director of Community Fundraising at Children's Cancer Research Fund at Children's Cancer Research Fund. Throughout the course of her time with us, she worked on a wide variety of projects for Scholarship America and was fully integrated into the day-to-day activities of a Marketing department in a national nonprofit. Sarah eagerly took on the task of creating our latest Scholarship America blog book, which contains past articles from Scholarship America’s blog on US News & World Report’s website, The Scholarship Coach. She also utilized her skills in Prezi to create a professional and high-quality online presentation for one of our business units. Sarah showed an exceptional talent at creative design and writing, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of all of her projects. In addition, Sarah assisted us with managing our social media pages, frequently and effectively following up on comments to our Facebook page. Sarah was also a contributor to our US News and World Report blog, The Scholarship Coach, writing several excellent articles on scholarships. In addition to her contribution to The Scholarship Coach blog, she was also a frequent contributor to our Scholarship America hosted blog, Success By Degrees (http://blog.scholarshipamerica.org/blog). We were so impressed with Sarah’s writing ability that we invited her to work as a freelance writer for Scholarship America after her marketing internship ended. As a department, we worked hard to incorporate Sarah as much as possible into our day-to-day operations, where she frequently sat in on and participated in department and organizational meetings. Sarah has excellent communication skills, is an engaging writer and shows enormous competence and a can-do attitude that will be strong assets to any organization. "
