Previously served as the Deputy Chief Program Officer and Director of Strategy at the Obama Foundation, and before that, spent time working with a few other NGOs around the world (e.g., the Carter Center in Sudan). Earned an MPhil and DPhil (PhD) in International Relations from Oxford University (as a Rhodes Scholar -- dissertation on organizational performance in international NGOs), and a BA and MA from Stanford University.
