With the start-up embarking on a strategic plan to roll up a number of pharmacy franchises under one umbrella, I was appointed to create a governance framework and value proposition to attract strategic acquisitions. Initially engaged as Senior Legal Counsel and 2iC in the legal commercial team, I progressed to lead the team in 2012 before being promoted to Associate General Counsel to support delivery of an ambitious growth strategy. Leading development of the annual strategic plan for the team, I provided trusted legal advice to a range of service lines within the firm, and in particular Financial Advisory Services and managed the contract process to enable growth outcomes. With 5 direct and 2 indirect reports, I ensured that the team continued to build capability to fully service the contractual needs of the firm.
