As the Marketing Manager at Ascensor I was responsible for the Ascensor brand communication and marketing activity. I joined the Ascensor team in 2012 at an exciting time as the business turned 5 years old. My role allowed me to work with the in-house creative team to develop engaging and effective marketing communications including:- responsive email marketing campaigns- social media marketing and blog posts- case studies and content for the websiteI was also responsible for planning the event and exhibition diary, I attended a number of events both in Yorkshire and London.I enjoyed working at Ascensor, whilst there I further developed my skill set and experience.

My role at Theatre& was a varied one. My job was to deliver the Sales and Marketing Strategy. Responsibilities of my role involved managing our websites, planning building and sending email marketing campaigns, managing our database of contacts and clients, liaising with external consultants including - film production companies, design agents and a PR consultant to create a range of effective marketing communications to further strengthen our brand.

Working as part of the Buying Department for my University placement year, I gained some really great experience. My role was to assist several different category Buyers and the Buying Controller. My responsibilities included working on product range reviews, implementing price changes, promotional planning, product allocations and investigating stock shortages.
