Sarah Dawley is Judicial Law Clerk at the Superior Court for the County of Los Angeles. Ms. Dawley attended the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she graduated with pro bono honors. She started her legal career as the University of California, Irvine School of Law's Public Interest Fellow at the Elder Law and Disability Rights Center. Her work focused on homelessness and access to justice for individuals with disabilities. Thereafter, Ms. Dawley became an associate in the South Pasadena Office of Schonbrun Seplow Harris Hoffman and Zeldes, where she represented individuals in employment and civil rights matters.In law school, Ms. Dawley successfully briefed and argued an appeal on behalf of an indigent prisoner in the Ninth Circuit. She also took second place in her law school’s Moot Court Competition and was a Moot Court board member the following year. She earned a B.A. from Tufts University in Child Development.
