As a Senior Migration Solicitor I- provided comprehensive advice to individuals and businesses regarding visa and sponsorship options- prepared detailed applications and submissions to the Department of Immigration, assessing bodies and review authorities- developed a comprehensive system to ensure all client applications were submitted decision-ready and approval-ready

With a large client base of both individuals and companies, I :- prepared sponsorship, nomination and work visa applications for corporate clients across a range of industries- assisted individuals to apply for skilled migration - reunited families through partner and parent visa applications- represented clients at review tribunals and in the Federal Court to overturn Departmental decisions.

In my first role in the immigration sector I managed a busy practice across all visa categories including humanitarian, skilled, business, employment and family. With a team of solicitors, administrative staff and ethnic representatives, I oversaw the processing of thousands of visa applications. Based on this experience I was acknowledged as an Accredited Specialistion Migration Law by the Law Society of New South Wales.

With a passion for the environment I worked in this role representing both local councils and individuals.I participated in a pro-bono capacity in a ground-breaking court case successfully saving the natural habitat for rare bent-wing bats in Queensland.
