As an urban planner at MKSK, I collaborate on interdisciplinary teams to create high quality plans and deliverables for our clients. I work on a variety of projects, including neighborhood plans, parks and recreation plans, best practice research, and comprehensive plans. Throughout the course of a project, I utilize a variety of skills and tools to collect and analyze data, create graphics, facilitate public engagement, layout reports and plan documents, and more. In addition to my job duties, I serve as the chair of MKSK's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force, an internal team of staff members that has crafted recommendations to advance DEI within the firm.

As the Marketing Manager at Visit Grove City, I developed and implemented a marketing and communications plan. I identified strategies to reach our desired audiences and created marketing materials to use across a number of platforms, including social media, website, email newsletter, in-person events, print media, and more. I managed a publicly funded budget to allocate funding to promotion and advertisements. I regularly conducted outreach with Grove City's tourism partners and hotels to develop high quality tourism product and to learn how to better promote them to our audiences. Additionally, I represented Visit Grove City at regional and national conferences and trade shows.

As a full-time intern, I assisted with day-to-day operations, such as fulfilling information requests by mail, refilling literature around the office and Grove City's thirteen hotels, and answering phones. Some of my other responsibilities included creating high-quality blog content and monitoring online reviews of Grove City area hotels and businesses. Additionally, while the Marketing and Group Sales Manager position was left unfilled, I assumed the responsibilities of that position. These included managing all social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Instagram. I also worked with external group tour operators to coordinate group tours in Grove City.
