I am currently a graduating senior in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a focus on data science. I am also a co-op Intern at UPS, where I work with the Information Services Management team on QA testing and tracking the progress of upcoming business projects. I have also worked on projects to improve and automate compiling and refining raw data into reports.Previously, I was a Program Officer with Cultural Vistas, working in the field of J1 visa sponsorship and educational exchanges. During this time, I worked with teams of various sizes and strengthened my ability to learn and explain complex information through verbal presentations and written communication. Additionally, I gained experience applying this information to different situations and working through complex problems to find solutions.As I became more interested in coding, I decided to go back to school for Computer Science. During my studies, my interest in data science grew, and I realized that my background made me a great fit, as I had experience learning about complex systems and using that insight to problem solve.
