Assigned to all CNR International’s Assets in the UK (Murchison, Ninian including Columbas, Thelma, Lyell, Tiffany, and satellites), Côte de Ivory (Baobab & Espoir and satellites), Gabon (Olowi), and South Africa (planning)* Well planning of predominantly development wells (though some E&A) on the companies mature assets in the North Sea, and new field developments in the Côte de Ivory and Gabon. Including writing of a Basis of Design document (if appropriate), offset well analysis and the geological programme. Experience of exploration and tight hole well planning.* 4 platform/ 29 well field development in Gabon from FEED though all phases of construction to production.* Overseeing of third party wells drilled from CNR Platforms into non-CNR satellite fields.Submissions to the Oil & Gas Authority using the WONS system, applications to drill, sidetrack, complete, abandon and suspend, along with the relevant associated notifications.* Compiled tenders for services (wellsite geology, mud logging), evaluating the proposals, awarding contracts and following through to make sure contract is adhered to.* Writing and execution of Wireline/LWD logging programs with team and contractor.* Designed Coring/ VSP programs with team and contractors.* QC and approval of all G&G data acquired while drilling.* Presentation of G&G data at pre-spuds, along with individual pre-well meetings with relevant geological contractors.* Completion of Geological EOWR and Completion Log.

Assigned to all CNR International’s Assets in the UK (Murchison, Ninian including Columbas, Lyell and satellites), Côte de Ivory (Baobab & Espoir and satellites)* Working with the other TA’s in the department to ensure all data (both geological and geophysical) is correctly entered into the databases (Landmark, Petrel and hardcopy). Including data acquired while drilling new wells, asset acquisition and assessment and also historical data from the early E&A wells. * Assisting in building geological models, cross-sections and correlations.* Providing software support to the G&G team, downloading and issuing data to consultants doing analysis for CNR.* Working with the Operation Geologists to plan wells to ensure that drilling operations run smoothly from a G&G perspective, providing technical support both in and out of office hours to the well team and the geological team offshore, solving (or assisting in the solution of) software problems/ issues that might arise. Occasionally providing cover when neither of the Operations Geologists are available.* Assisting when required the Operations Geologists in writing and issuing geological programs and other documentation required for drilling (e.g. wireline programs, offset well data, correlations). Offset well analysis for geological/ drilling hazards. Geological End of Well Report and Composite Log (using Winlog Pro).* Writing and issuing to management (in both the UK and Calgary) a daily report summarising all CNR’s well activities (drilling and work-overs) and all partner-operated wells.* Application and notification to the Oil & Gas Authority of all CNR well activity through the WONS system (including applications to drill, sidetrack, suspend, abandon and work-over).* UKOOAA Scout Representative for CNR for 2 years. Issuing monthly scout reports to the industry, commercial scouts and attending bi-monthly scout meetings.
