• Monitor and analyze crisis situations utilized in publications specifically focused on North Africa (Libya and Egypt), the Horn of Africa (Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Somalia), Myanmar (Burma), the Philippines, and Ukraine• Assist with thematic research and analysis for the development of policy recommendations• Manage GCR2P social media profiles (Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn) • Design and execute advocacy campaigns on social media• Create infographics, video content and animations for the promotion of Global Centre publications and advocacy points on social media using Adobe Suite• Create templates and format some Global Centre publications in Adobe InDesign• Assist with website management and content posting in CMS format (WordPress)• Design some Global Centre email templates• Assist with other digital media editing and release, including the Expert Voices on Atrocity Prevention podcast• Develop relationships with UN Mission personnel to facilitate engagement between various countries and NGOs on mass atrocity prevention

• Conduct research on country situations where people are at risk of mass atrocitycrimes, or where R2P is invoked• Conduct research and compile information on R2P-related news and events, includingtracking statements and positions of UN Member States, regional institutions, and otherpolicy research• Assist Global Centre staff with advocacy and the planning of meetings and events• Provide assistance with administrative tasks including copying, emailing, and providingsummaries of reports as needed
