This location offers a unique experience and provides a different atmosphere to comply with a weekly theme. While attending Bowling Green State University as a Full Time student, I worked a minimum of three nights a week. During this experience, I developed the ability to accurately handle cash, build my clientele, and demonstrate knowledge of weekly specials in addition to raise sales for the company.

Formerly Tony's Place, and renovated in 2014 becoming Reel Bar, is a favorite for Islanders. During my experience at Tony's we were known for "the best burger on the bay." In addition, we featured freshly squeezed cocktails made to order with the customer's choice of grapefruit or orange juice and liquor of their choice liquor. I became knowledgeble about all 16 craft beers on tap, became proficient in the ALOHA system (used as our point of sales system), and offered inside information on the island for tourists.

Tom's Country Place has been family owned and operated in Avon, OH since 1959. The site features three banquet halls to accommodate any event. In addition, Tom's has the resources to cater to offsite locations.
