Fundamental to my role is:• Assessing individual candidate and company sponsorship or visa options• Preparing, lodging and managing business sponsorship and employee visa applications, in accordance with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) policies and regulations and/or associated bodies• Researching and undergoing continuous professional development in order to maintain up to date knowledge of Australian immigration policy and legislation • Corresponding with DIBP, relevant bodies and government authorities and keeping customers well informed of all developments relating to their application• Identifying and resolving issues and providing the best solutions to meet customer needsI maintain an up to date technical library as required by the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) and in accordance with the Migration Agents Code of Conduct to ensure that the process is managed quickly, effectively and with entirely compliant outcomes for our customers.
