Sarah McCarthy is a Cryptographic Strategist at evolutionQ with a strong background in quantum-secure cryptography. She is also a Research Associate, following her Postdoctoral Fellowship, at the Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo, and received her PhD from Queen’s University Belfast. Her research portfolio encompasses vehicle-to-vehicle communications, advanced lattice-based primitives and global QKD networking. Throughout her career, she has endeavoured to keep the focus on secure designs with real-world practicality, which continues to be a key influence in her current role.
