E Rejuvenation Centre was a specialist energy centre, in large, beautifully fitted out premises which oozed peace, serenity and positivity. Our corporate clients ran conferences, workshops and conventions in our unique meetings venue, combined with workshops and presentations about how to boost energy and engagement in the workplace. We worked with many famous brands, from the BBC to Virgin, KPMG to Hewlett Packard, and many many more.We ran several daily Energy Rejuvenation sessions and programmes especially aimed at leaders of large companies and owners of local SMEs.We also ran a spa with unique, energy-focused treatments.

I developed and ran training programmes for teams and local SMEs which were focused on achieving tangible business results by optimising their personal energy. Clients included the Financial News sales team, RSA Group (Royal Sun Alliance) leadership training, global leaders of Standard Chartered Bank, a very well known media brand and over 60 local SMEs.I also ran daily group E Rejuvenation sessions for local business people who were looking for a high quality antidote to stress and one on one consultations with private clients.

My main responsibility was developing courses for the Academy and having them approved and accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. We may have been one of the first institutions in the world to have had full-time courses which focused on teaching happiness, health and wellbeing, relationships and other life abilities accredited by a government authority.I was also responsible for a complex array of visa applications in an entirely international organisation and all other legal and official communications and relationships.I managed the day to day running of the Academy, in conjunction with the owners, and organised the student programme.

- I ran a radio production company which specialised in interviewing children. - I travelled all over the world recording in-depth interviews with children, which were broadcast on BBC Radio 4, 5 and the World Service. - I produced the global material for UNICEF's first-ever Day of Children's Broadcasting. - I ran workshops for Save the Children in Thailand and Nepal on adult-child communication. - I carried out the fieldwork in over 30 British schools for research by Learning Through Landscapes into How the Design and Management of School Grounds Affect Children's Attitudes and Behaviour.- I helped teenagers from Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Kosova and Vojvodina make a joint radio programme for BBC World Service in the middle of the Yugoslavia conflict.- I gave children a respectful voice through radio, and created examples that were later followed by others, at a time when the Convention on the Rights of the Child was only just coming into force.- I wrote a training pack for journalists on how to interview children, which is still in print today.
