Adolescent Brain Development Study:Responsible for the compellation of the neuropsychological testing battery and neuroimaging testing battery. Designed an fMRI neuroimaging test capable of measuring the neural correlates of the executive function of task switching. Writing a manuscript for publication in the journal Neuroimage. Recruited adolescent’s through local schools and after screening subjects for eligibility I administered a clinical interview and ran the subject’s through the neuropsychological battery. Ran the subject’s through a neuroimaging session containing an fMRI. Solely responsible for the analysis of the fMRI data including sMRI, fMRI, DTI and resting state functional connectivity.

Laboratory of Biological Dynamics and Theoretical Medicine:Solely responsible for the recruitment and diagnosing of subjects for this research study, which includes interviewing all subjects with the SCID, and administering and scoring psychological questionnaires. UCSD MR certified for running fMRI scans. Administering psychophysical pain testing on subjects to obtain individual’s subjective thresholds of painful sensations. Analyzing heart rate variability data and MRI data. Submitting grant proposals, assisting in gathering research materials for manuscripts.

Translational Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Laboratory:Responsible for the recruitment, organization, diagnostic and experimental assessments of the “Cognitive Neurogenetics of Schizophrenia” study. Ran fMRI scans independently. Learned and applied new methods of processing and analyzing the functional, structural, and behavioral data. Maintaining and running the study “Schizophrenia and Maintenance,” which examined episodic memory deficits in schizophrenia patients. This study included administering clinical assessments, behavioral testing, fMRI scanning, along with utilizing UNIX, AFNI, SPM, Matlab, and Voxbo programs to process fMRI data.
