Mixed practitioner in a large, busy clinic, including sole charge of the practice’s satellite clinic in Ravensthorpe one day per week for 4 months. Equine experience includes independent performance of field castrations, dentistry, drenching, intra-articular injection and wound management. Extensive small animal experience which allowed development of competent surgical skills, client communication, case management and veterinary teamwork. Proficiently managed after-hours on-call duties, worked voluntary additional shifts, represented the practice as on-course veterinarian for Esperance Pony Club One Day Event, and presented client education material at clinic Open Day.

Assisting in equine veterinary dental appointments including interacting and communicating with clients both verbally and through written correspondence.
