- Welcoming guests upon entrance and confirming existing reservations - Understanding customer’s needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the hotel- Acting as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information- Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations- Arrange events, excursions, transportation etc. upon request from hotel residents- Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution- Make on-property and off-property dining and other reservations for guests.- Provide information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations.- Make travel arrangements for sightseeing and other tours.- Book local and non-local transportation reservations - Receive, store, and deliver luggage, mail, and packages.- Arrange for the replacement of items lost by travelers.- Assist guests on the phone, over email, or in person.- Pick up and deliver items, or run errands for guests.- Carry out unusual requests such as searching for hard-to-find items and arranging for exotic services such as island kayak tours.
