Currently, I work in crafting captivating promotional and recruitment materials, designing content and graphics tailored for impactful social media campaigns and promote the programs low-Residency, while effectively using the MFA/CD brand system created by designers Morcos Key.

During summers '22 and '23, I was a Residential Advisor for the Migrant Academic Achievement Residential Summer (MAARS) program at Texas State Technical College. The MAARS program was designed to empower high school migrant and seasonal farmworkers in their pursuit of higher education and community service, MAARS offered opportunities for personal and educational growth. Throughout the program, my role involved:-Providing individualized support to students, guiding them through academic challenges and personal development. -Facilitating meaningful group sessions and one-on-one meetings to offer guidance, mentorship, and encouragement.-Mediating conflicts between residents, fostering a harmonious and supportive community environment.-Actively participating in weekly field trips, enriching the educational experience and strengthening community connections.My experience with MAARS was deeply rewarding, allowing me to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their journey towards academic success and personal fulfillment.

During my time as a Residential Advisor, I undertook a diverse array of responsibilities aimed at fostering a positive and enriching living-learning environment within Gaillardia Hall, aligning closely with the university's educational mission. These responsibilities included:-Implementing and maintaining the Bobcat Residential Experience (BRE), which encompassed crucial initiatives such as financial literacy programs.-Cultivating and nurturing collaborative relationships with various staff members including other Residential Advisors, Residential Directors, facilities, custodians, dining services, desk assistants, and night desk staff, ensuring a cohesive and supportive environment.-Facilitating impactful Bobcat conversations, mandatory weekly & bi-weekly meetings, and informal gatherings, fostering both individual and group interactions among residents to enhance their learning and personal development.-Being readily accessible to students, offering guidance and assistance with personal concerns and roommate conflicts, and conducting one-on-one conversations to provide tailored support.-Leading engaging small and large group meetings, contributing to the vibrant community spirit within the halls.-Conducting regular on-duty rounds and security checks, promptly addressing and reporting any facilities maintenance issues or security concerns.-Managing the Gaillardia Hall's Instagram account, effectively communicating hall events, campus activities, and staff highlights to residents.-Fulfilling weekly desk assistance and mail room duties, ensuring efficient operations and resident satisfaction.Throughout these multifaceted responsibilities, effective communication and collaboration were essential, requiring clear & proactive engagement with students, other Residential Advisors, and supervisors, through various channels of communication.
