At Adage Technologies, our software development teams build solutions that help our clients harness technology to connect and engage with their audience. We utilize Agile software development practices (specifically Scrum) to deliver technical solutions that exceed expectations.I work with two development teams comprised of both collocated and remote team members (currently fully remote due to COVID-19). My aim is to facilitate the team's successful fulfillment of their sprint commitment and lead thoughtful reflection and discussion of the previous iteration so that the team can identify and own actionable improvements to their process. I integrate reinforcement of Scrum and Agile fundamentals into our Scrum rituals and other process conversations.In addition to my Scrum Master work, I have also taken on the additional responsibility of working directly with clients to define, plan, and prioritize upcoming work during multiple prolonged absences of Product Owners. This work included managing the budgets and providing long-term allocation projections for a full portfolio of clients.Beyond my direct work with our Scrum teams, my focus on developing tools that will help our organization to use internal data to make more informed decisions. Drawing on my background in assessment and survey design, I have developed a tool to help us prioritize work across teams and within our portfolios. An additional goal is to utilize PowerBI to tell the story of our data to drive more powerful reflection and inform our decisions.My colleagues recognized me as the Adage All-Star of the Quarter in Q3 of 2019 for the impact of my servant leadership. While my aim is to support my teams and guide their process improvement, I was deeply honored by this award.

United Shore is a wholesale mortgage company that works primarily with mortgage brokers. The majority of the application development teams specialize in designing and enhancing software for United Shore teams working in different stages in the life of the loan. As a Scrum Master, I supported two of these business partnership teams in their development of applications supporting different aspects of the lending process. Projects were concurrent and development was fast-paced aimed at helping United Shore retain it's top status in wholesale mortgage lending.As a Scrum Master, I fostered engagement through keeping our sprint rituals fresh while remaining true to their purpose. I removed impediments so that the teams met or exceeded sprint goals. I worked closely with Product Owners to ensure that top priority items met the high standards and timeline of our stakeholders. I monitored team health and cultivated buy-in for the continuous improvement process through involving the full team in reflection and strategy sessions. Because good data makes for better decisions, I tracked metrics so that the teams I worked with were able to make informed estimates and also to document the incredible work the teams completed.

As a full-stack developer at United Shore, I provided solutions through the development of features and enhancements of existing software. This work involved a great deal of collaboration with business analysts, quality assurance analysts, senior developers, product owners, business-based stakeholders, and software architects to ensure sound development solutions. In addition, I supported all efforts of the Scrum team through implementation of specific strategies for progress monitoring and prioritization of tasks to capitalize on our team's strengths.

In this role, I provided school counseling support to students of all age levels, including individual and group interventions, classroom guidance lessons in the elementary school, implementation and coordination of the advisory program (including lesson and curriculum planning) for grades 6-12, and college and career planning in high school. I also served as the coordinator of MAP and PSAT testing. While at AISZ, I also wrote and assisted with the implementation of the school's bullying prevention policy. I also collaborated with the other members of the Student Services Team to review and refine our service model and documentation procedures.

Saudi Aramco Schools is a part of the world's largest energy company, Saudi Aramco. The mission of Saudi Aramco Schools is to help Saudi Aramco attract and retain a world-class workforce. I worked at the largest of the SAS elementary schools, the Dhahran Hills School, during a time of growth. Initially, I worked as the counselor for Grades 3-5, but transition to working with Grades 2-3 when an additional counselor was hired for the school.Beyond working with students through the comprehensive school counseling program, I served on a number of district wide committees, including teams related to district accreditation and curriculum review. I also was the team leader for our school's Student Services Team and the school's testing coordinator.
