The primary focus of this position is to drive, influence and measure organisational culture, including the coordination of the Organisational Cultural Inventory (OCI) survey re-measure project, coaching and support for leaders and teams to understand and improve organisational culture, creation of promotional and communication materials, interpretation and reporting of survey data and extensive consultancy and liaison with all areas of the business. In this role, I also regularly facilitate Mental Health First Aid, Wellbeing for Sustainable High Performance and Feedback training.

Within the Safety and Wellbeing team my key responsibilities are to coordinate the return to work process for injured workers and provide specialist advice and coaching to managers and employees around return to work, mental health and early intervention. A recent achievement was to develop a workshop, as part of a “Leader Led” initiative, and train leaders to deliver it to staff at over eighty workshops, engaging employees in a conversation about wellbeing at work.

Within the Organisational Learning and Development team, my focus was on the cultural development of VicRoads. I engaged with employees and leaders to understand cultural priorities highlighted in cultural surveys and develop initiatives to meet development needs.

Within the Occupational Health and Safety team, I was responsible for driving a culture of health, wellbeing and safety across the organisation.

Reporting to the Learning and Development manager (Melbourne) and Organisational Health and Safety manager (Canberra) of the Australian Crime Commission (ACC), I was responsible for development and wellbeing initiatives.

In this autonomous role, I presented four x 90 minute classes per week, to 23 undergraduate students. This involved preparation of all materials, including lecture notes, class activities and case examples for weekly topics. I was responsible for marking and providing feedback on student presentations, essays and exams. As a part of this role, I also provided out-of-class assistance and mentoring to students.
