Sarah is the Founder & CEO of Together Films, a marketing and sales company serving the international film community from our offices in London & NYC. ProducerTogether Films Jan 2014 - Dec 2016I produced the feature documentary They Will Have To Kill Us First (Directed by Johanna Schwartz). The film premiered at SXSW, screened at the London Film Festival (on my 29th birthday!), and was acquired by BBC Worldwide. I also consulted on the featured documentary Planetary, which also premiered at the SXSW. This was a wild time of fundraising, tax credits, distribution negotiations, sponsorship, partnerships & premieres.... As part of my role I had experience with:-Impact Distribution Strategy; Advising filmmakers on how to work with non-traditional partners; campaign goals; fundraising; budgeting and evaluation-Traditional Distribution - Theatrical, Non-theatrical, Online and Broadcast-Budgeting and Finance-Marketing - Social Media campaigns, website development and maintenance; Design commissioning and management. -Audience Engagement and outreachI devised and managed the Ping Pong Care Campaign (www.pingpongfilm.co.uk/campaign), after securing a grant of £300,000 from the Big Lottery Fund to fund a 12 month film screening programme in the UK. Managing two project staff in London, hosting 9 awareness events nationally and orchestrating 2500 screenings of the film Ping Pong. For One Mile Away (www.onemileaway.co.uk), as part of the work with the film, I also advised the cast members on setting up their own social enterprise. Aiding them with business development, budgeting, fundraising, stakeholder engagement and marketing. During this time I was also the Good Pitch Europe Outreach Director; bringing in partners for film campaigns to our flagship London event. This involved securing 80 senior figures from Foundations, NGOs, Philanthropy, Brands and Media to join film campaigns for social change.
