As the coordinator I am responsible for coordinating all aspects of the film festival, overseeing the festival's budget and marketing efforts. I have strong project management skills, a passion for film, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to ensure the festival's success.

At ThinkPlace, I was responsible for conducting research and design projects across various topic areas and countries within Africa. Her day-to-day tasks involved contributing towards planning, implementing, and managing projects, ensuring that all project deliverables were met on time and within budget. She was also responsible for collaborating with project teams and clients to ensure that research and design projects met the needs of end-users and stakeholders. Her expertise in human-centered design and research methodologies enabled her to provide valuable insights and recommendations that helped to improve project outcomes and drive social change.

Nairobi

As a project support specialist, I facilitated the implementation of various public health campaigns including HIV PrEP, VMMC, and HIV Self-Testing Be Sure Campaign. I played a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the projects by managing logistical requests and acting as a liaison between the field teams and office support teams. My day-to-day activities included coordinating the flow of information between different teams and ensuring that all logistical requests were addressed in a timely manner therefore ensuring project teams functioned effectively by receiving the support they needed.

As the coordinator of the School Series mentorship project, I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program. This included developing content for the website, mentoring young people, supporting mentors, and identifying potential partnerships to help grow the project. I was also involved in the coordinating the logistics of the program. Through my work, I helped to provide a platform for young people to develop essential life skills and build meaningful relationships with mentors. Additionally, I played a critical role in expanding the reach of the program by establishing partnerships with other organizations and stakeholders.

Athi River Campus

As a peer writing tutor at Daystar University, I assisted fellow students in improving their writing skills through one-on-one consultations. This involved reviewing and providing feedback on written assignments, brainstorming ideas for essays, and offering guidance on grammar, punctuation, and syntax. Through my role as a peer writing tutor, I helped students become more confident and effective writers, which was a rewarding experience.

Daystar University

As a community volunteer, I worked on various projects in the Lukenya community, collaborating with local schools, churches, and other community organizations. I provided support in organizing and executing community-based initiatives focused on education, health, and social welfare. This included activities such as school outreach programs, community health campaigns, and charity events. Through my involvement in these projects, I was able to build strong relationships with community leaders and stakeholders, fostering a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the local community.
